Pledge2Learn is an independent special school providing nurture placements for children with SEMH needs and those who find it difficult to access mainstream education.  Currently, and depending on availability, we offer part-time and full-time education placements.

KS4 students will work on GCSEs preparation with qualified and experienced teachers.  

KS3 and KS4 students can access an expanding curriculum that is tailored towards their individual needs and interests and comprises a mix of academic and vocational awards in the following areas:

• Mathematics

• English

• Employability

• Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economics (PSHCE)

• Health & Social Care

• Food Technology

• PE/ Sport 

• Art

• IT (embedded throughout the curriculum)

• Humanities (embedded within the English curriculum)

• Science (embedded throughout the PSHCE and Sports programmes)

• Religious studies (delivered through embedded spiritual, moral, social and cultural development)

Many of our courses are accredited by the NCFE up to Level 2.  We have chosen NCFE because they are the longest standing awarding body in the UK, awarding qualifications that are recognised all over the world, and have been operating for over 170 years.

NCFE is recognised by the UK Department for Education and regulated by Ofqual, so you can be confident that we're committed to delivering the highest standard of qualifications and service to our students.
