Vanessa Lappin, NNEB

COMPANY DIRECTOR

When Vanessa left school she trained in early childhood development and received her NNEB qualification through North Lindsey College.   Vanessa has gained extensive experience and training in working with children, young people and their families.  In her early career Vanessa gained a lot of reward working in a SEND school with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, including those children who have Moderate and Severe, through to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

Vanessa has used this experience in providing specialist interventions with some of the most vulnerable children in North Lincolnshire, including in her role as Play Specialist, where she worked in a team with paediatric consultants, speech and language specialists, and other health specialists.  

Vanessa has also worked in mainstream education providing targeted support, as well as working in children and family support services in North Lincolnshire with families who need additional support.  This wide range of experience puts Vanessa in a good place to help with the development of Pledge2Learn.

As a mother and grandmother, Vanessa loves family time and making memories.  In her spare time she loves reading and crafting, and among many things enjoys making English handmade quilted blankets.
